Schedule

Meeting point 09:00 a.m. Maiskogelbahn, Kaprun.
Welcome meeting and equipment check – putting on skis, bindings, skins and using poles correctly.

Avalanche equipment check – avalanche transceiver check.

Practice skinning and hiking correctly. Correct use of poles, hairpin bends, walking aids and other tips are practiced.

Short break after approx. 50 minutes. Then continue to the end point. Once there, we take a break. We take the necessary time to discuss all questions about the intro skitour.

Descent on touring skis. For many, this is their first descent on touring skis. Getting used to the skis and a mix between off-piste and piste.

Stop for a well deserved drink!
